Grateful for Local Public Radio

I am grateful for local public radio.

There are two public radio stations in my town. Both are at local universities. Both provide very satisfying content.

Several of the types of programming I enjoy are:

Jazz and Democracy Now on WSNC FM 90.5   Winston Salem State University (including afternoon jazz with Jim Steele, Marian Mcpartland’s Piano Jazz and evening Smooth Jazz)

Interviews, Creative Programming, and Classical Music on WFDD FM 88.5  Wake Forest University (including Fresh Air, This American Life, Across the Blue Ridge, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me)

Both allow live streaming, so I can listen on my phone or on my computer. Woohoo!  🙂
